The Auburn Jam Band is the function band of the husband and wife team from Auburn Jam Music, Joe & Nikki Davison.
Style, influences & Artists covered
Our speciality is doing jazz versions of popular songs, as well as improv jazz and lyrical piano. However, we can perform a variety of styles and genres according to your requirements and can source appropriate cover material for your event. For example we have sourced a selection of car themed songs for a BMW event, and 80s covers for a themed party.
Line-up and Prices
You can hire us just as we are- keys and vocals, or just keys- for a quieter jazz accompaniment to dinner or drinks, or if you’re looking for a bigger band for dancing or more of a performance, we can call on an army of musicians to add drums, bass, saxophone and guitar as required.
Our basic costs are £50 per hour of playing, per musician, plus expenses which we will discuss with you on a quote-by-quote basis. We’ll do our very best to fit into your budget!
Jingles and bespoke composition:
We also offer several services to make your event stand out from the crowd, including creating jingles and composing theme songs, for example to be used as entry music to cover a speaker’s entry to the platform, either performed live or recorded in advance. Please get in touch for a quote tailored to your needs.

How to Book

We will contact you to discuss your requirements and budget, and what we can do to help you.
We will pencil in a booking for your required date.
A 50% deposit by cheque or bank transfer is required to secure the booking for both parties.
The remainder of the payment can be made at the end of the event..
Charged at a rate of £50 per musician per hour, in half hour units (minimum one hour).
Plus a flat rate fee of £20 per musician to cover expenses to anywhere within 10 miles of Raynes Park. Further distances will incur reasonable additional expenses, for which we can quote you in advance.
We also offer several services to make your event stand out from the crowd, including custom made jingles and theme songs, for example to be used as entry music to cover a speaker’s entry to the platform.
An existing song rearranged to a jingle format, with rewritten lyrics is charged at £25 per jingle.
We also offer a bespoke composition service, writing original theme music for your event, as per your specification. This can be then performed live or recorded in advance. Please get in touch for a quote tailored to your needs.
Small Jazz Backing Duo
A vocal and piano duo performing background jazz music for one hour during your event.
Total Cost £140
House Band for a Day
A four piece function band (eg. Vocals, Piano, Guitar and Drums) providing background music during a six hour day, as well as three custom jingles during the keynote session.

A seven piece function band (e.g. Vocals x 2, Saxophone Piano, Guitar, Bass, Drums) available for a 2 hour event with several jingles and bespoke theme music including CD recording for future use.
